DormDrop LLC (“DormDrop,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices when using our app.Information We Collect:
User Account Data: Full name, email (e.g., @my.gcu.edu), phone number, and campus residence. Order Information: Restaurant name, total price, order contents, special requests, delivery building, and feedback. Screen Recordings (Customers): Temporary uploads for AI processing, deleted after data extraction. Location Data (Deliverers Only): Real-time tracking during deliveries for status updates and accuracy. Payment Information: Handled by Stripe; we don’t store card details.
How We Use Your Information:
We use data to process and fulfill orders, match customers with deliverers, verify and rate deliveries, improve experiences, and ensure policy compliance.
Data Sharing and Third Parties:
We don’t sell your data. We share with Stripe (payments), Firebase (Google Cloud, infrastructure), and Gemini (Vertex AI, order extraction). No data is shared with GCU or Transact.
Data Retention:
Screen recordings are deleted post-extraction. Account data is kept until account deletion or platform end. Order and rating history may be retained for operations and legal reasons.
Your Privacy Rights:
Request account deletion, correct inaccurate data, or get support by contacting [email protected].
Children’s Privacy:
DormDrop is for users 18+. We don’t knowingly collect or allow minor usage.
Changes to This Policy:
Updates may occur. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.

IntroductionWelcome to DormDrop LLC (“DormDrop,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DormDrop mobile app, website (dormdrop.us), and related services (collectively, the “Services”).By creating an account, accessing, or using DormDrop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.DormDrop LLC is a student-founded, Arizona-registered Limited Liability Company that operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Grand Canyon University (GCU).EligibilityDormDrop’s Services are available exclusively to individuals who:Are 18 years of age or olderHold a valid my.gcu.edu email addressAre currently located within GCU campus boundariesDescription of Service
DormDrop facilitates on-campus food deliveries between student customers (“Customers”) and independent student couriers (“Deliverers”). DormDrop does not prepare or sell food; all food orders originate from GCU’s existing mobile ordering system or campus vendors.
Customers can:Upload a screen recording of a mobile food order from GCU’s ordering appPay a delivery fee and tip through StripeMatch with a Deliverer who picks up and delivers the orderCommunicate securely with the Deliverer via in-app chatIndependent Relationship
Deliverers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of DormDrop. DormDrop only connects Customers and Deliverers; DormDrop does not assume responsibility for Deliverers’ actions or conduct.
Payments and FeesDelivery Fees: $3 base fee + 15% of the total order.Tips: Optional, and go directly to Deliverers.Payment Processing: All payments via Stripe; DormDrop never stores card info.Authorization: Payment is charged after a Deliverer accepts your order.Taxes: Delivery fees include applicable taxes.Order Cancellations and RefundsYou can cancel any time before a Deliverer accepts your order; no charge.After acceptance, cancellation does not guarantee a refund.Refunds are issued for undelivered, late, or incorrect orders per our Refund and Dispute Policy.Submit refund requests within 24 hours via the DormDrop app or email [email protected].Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
Provide accurate pickup/delivery infoBe available at drop-off location at the estimated timeInspect food upon receiptReport safety or quality issues within 24 hoursNot share accounts or impersonate usersTreat Deliverers respectfully and follow campus safety policiesDeliverers cannot enter residence halls or restricted areas.Food Safety Disclaimer
DormDrop is not responsible for food preparation, packaging, or temperature. All food handled by third-party restaurants or GCU food services; DormDrop and Deliverers are couriers only.
Orders not delivered within 1 hour (over 90°F outdoors) or 2 hours (otherwise) will be canceled and refunded for safety.Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify DormDrop immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized account use. DormDrop is not liable for losses due to your failure to secure your account.
Prohibited Conduct
Customers may not:
Interfere with the DormDrop app or serversEngage in fraudulent or abusive behaviorCircumvent payment systems or charge unauthorized feesCreate multiple accounts or impersonate othersUse DormDrop outside GCU campus or for illegal activitiesViolations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.Dispute Resolution
All disputes are governed by DormDrop’s Refund and Dispute Policy. Unresolved disputes go to binding arbitration in Phoenix, AZ under AAA rules. Each party covers their own costs unless otherwise decided.
Limitation of Liability
DormDrop LLC, its members, and affiliates are not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damagesLoss of data, income, or goodwillHarm caused by third-party food prep or deliveryDormDrop’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total order amount paid by the Customer.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DormDrop LLC, its officers, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or damage resulting from your misuse of the Services, breach of these Terms, or violation of law.
Privacy and Data Use
DormDrop collects and processes data per its Privacy Policy. By using DormDrop, you consent to collection, storage, and use of your information as described.
Modifications to Service and Terms
DormDrop may modify or discontinue any Services without notice. Updated Terms will be posted in the app and on the website. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Arizona law. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in Maricopa County, Arizona.
